Creative workshops at OneRoot
There’s something special about making something with your own hands — especially when there’s a little icing involved. We’re developing a welcoming programme of hands-on baking and decorating experiences for children, families and curious creatives in Highbury.
Led by the passion and expertise of Nes, our Le Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef, our workshops will bring together playful creativity, thoughtful guidance and the simple pleasure of making something delicious.
Swirls, sprinkles and plenty of imagination. A joyful way for little bakers to create their own sweet masterpieces.
From colourful icing to creative designs, a hands-on experience to share with friends and family.
Think gingerbread at Christmas, themed treats and special creative sessions throughout the year.
Coming soon. We’re planning our first sessions, including opportunities for children's celebrations and local families. Dates, ages and prices will be announced when confirmed.

Photo, film & content shoot location hire in Highbury
Step inside OneRoot and you’ll find a warm neighbourhood café. But there’s another side to our space — a separate, unexpected fitness-inspired area tucked away behind the café, complete with gym equipment and a very different visual character.
For photographers, filmmakers, brands and creators, that contrast opens up possibilities: a relaxed café setting for food, lifestyle, product and interview content, alongside a behind-the-scenes space suited to fitness, movement and wellness-inspired shoots.
Natural neighbourhood character for café scenes, interviews, food styling, product photography and lifestyle content.
A distinctive rear location with gym equipment for fitness, wellness, movement and creator-led visual projects.
Two contrasting settings within one venue, with the potential for a more varied shoot without changing location.
Location hire is by enquiry and subject to suitability, availability and agreed access. The rear space is offered as a potential shoot location, not as a public gym. Styling and presentation may evolve as we develop the space.
